Brax Showroom, Hamburg Hafencity (GER)

"We chose the Modul R 120 XL because, on the one hand, its pure design contrasts with the historic architecture of the showroom in Hamburg's Speicherstadt warehouse district and, on the other hand, because of the distinctive air it lends to a room through its lightness and transparency." That is how Dirk Haubrich from Scola Wohnkonzepte explained his firm's decision in favour of the Nimbus suspended LED luminaires with their imposing diameter of 65 centimetres. A total of 32 Nimbus luminaires present the BRAX fashions in the right light in the 700-square metre historic red-brick loft. "The ideal colour rendering of the LEDs was an important point for us, as constantly changing fashion collections are displayed in the showroom," Dirk Haubrich added. The company therefore wanted luminaires whose design conveyed quality without drawing too much attention to themselves, as it is the fashion that should be in the limelight. At the same time, the LED luminaires' low maintenance requirement and low power consumption also suited the customer's requirements. Nimbus has proved to be an appropriate partner for the BRAX fashion label as both companies stand for the modern implementation of substantial values.
