Private Home, Bielefeld (GER)

A generously sized penthouse is sumptuously lit – and is nevertheless a shining example in terms of energy saving.

The occupants of a penthouse overlooking the rooftops of Bielefeld have set foot in a new lighting age following the renovation of their home. Their house is an LED house par excellence: ultra-slim LED luminaires light the predominantly white rooms in perfect harmony.

LED lighting technology was chosen for all the living areas. The clients were convinced by the benefits of the LED luminaires, whose puristic, delicate design harmonises perfectly with the clear, classic structures of the interior.

LED lighting control is relatively uncomplicated to use: various mood settings were determined for the lighting in the whole house in the "EIB" (European Installation Bus) building automation system. The occupants can program these lighting moods at any time and for any area they wish by means of touchscreens.
