The best and important furniture products and luminaires in the 21st century have been voted by Germany`s most important living magazine "Schöner Wohnen".

A prominent jury – including star architect Hadi Teherani and designer Peter Schmidt – decided which items of furniture from the last decade had already reached the status of a classic or will earn such a status in the time to come. They selected 200 objects worthy of the title New Classic as awarded by the magazine SCHÖNER WOHNEN. The editorial team at SCHÖNER WOHNEN is also presenting 200 design classics from the 20th and 21st centuries whose aesthetic quality continues to enthral and which maintain their fascination as retro trends come and go. The book of classics is available as a free supplement to the February issue of Schöner Wohnen and presents these 400 best items of furniture and home accessories of the 20th and 21st centuries.
