Even more energy-efficient LED circuit boards

Thanks to constant optimization, Nimbus has succeeded in further reducing the power supplies required for its LED luminaires.
“We have made further improvements to the LED activation system, enabling us to transform energy into light even more efficiently. The advantage is that we need significantly less power to achieve the same light output,” explained Dr. Uwe Slabke, head of development at Nimbus.
For example, the power supply for the Module Q36 ceiling-mounted luminaire has been reduced by a further 11 % to 7.7 W and for the Module L120 suspended luminaire by a massive 21 % to 28.5 W.

We expect our luminaires with the new power supply requirements to be available as of April 2010.
