Design promotes quality: VDID forum at the Design Center Stuttgart on 29.09.
Can design enhance or optimise product quality while communicating it at the same time? To what extent may design underline quality – without feigning it - and can quality be conveyed at all without professional design?
These are some of the questions that have been explored at the forum held by the Verband Deutscher Industrie Designer (Association of German Industrial Designers). Distinguished speakers from the fields of perceptual psychology and design as well as from SMEs and large enterprises tackled the question of how quality can be optimised and communicated by means of professionally successful design.
There was also a presentation on behalf of the Nimbus Group: Daniel Neves Pimenta, interior designer and head of product development, spoke on the subject of "Light - Quality - Innovation".
The forum took place on Thursday 29th September 2011 with the participation of and on the premises of the Design Center Stuttgart in the Haus der Wirtschaft, Stuttgart.
You can view the detailed program for the forum to be held in the Bertha Benz Hall at the Haus der Wirtschaft, Stuttgart on the VDID website > www.vdid.de
