Symposium on the Unilever building in Hamburg at the University of Stuttgart

A specialist symposium of the DBZ+BAUcolleg on the subject of "Behnisch Architekten – Unilever Building, Hamburg Port City" took place at the University of Stuttgart on Thursday, 19 May 2011. The event was organised by Bauverlag in collaboration with Ulrike Sengmüller.

Dipl.-Ing. Martin Haas, project management partner in the Stuttgart architects' office Behnisch Architekten, gave a detailed report on the Unilever building.
Light is the central feature of the building: the extremely energy-efficient LED luminaires from Nimbus in 35,000 square metres of space on 6 floors.
