"HOUSE WITHIN A HOUSE" AND NIMBUS IN HAMBURG CRIME SERIES

Cenk Batu's last assignment took the detective from the German "Tatort" crime series behind the scenes of the world of finance – and, in particular, into the "House within a House" at the Hamburg Chamber of Commerce, which was used as a set for the finance world for the NDR Tatort. Besides the actors, the Nimbus LED luminous ceiling also cut a good figure in the last Tatort to feature Mehmet Kurtulus.
The "House within a House" was built in 2007 in the classical-style trading hall of the Chamber of Commerce according to plans drawn up by Behnisch Architekten. The Nimbus Group provided the lighting and made it one the first buildings in the world to be exclusively lit by energy-saving LEDs. Over 160,000 LEDs were planned to cover the five levels. 400 LEDs are bundled in each of the 380 light module panels suspended from the glass ceilings.
