Opened in 2018, the Urban Mining & Recycling Experimental Unit (UMAR) is still a groundbreaking project to showcase the opportunities for tomorrow's resource-efficient planning and construction. As a project partner, Nimbus has provided various luminaires for the project, including the wireless models. In the meantime, a book entitled "Recyclable by Werner Sobek" (avedition) has been published which interviews the project partners, among others. Dietrich Brennenstuhl was also asked to talk: His statement: "If we plan according to the maxim 'less is more', this inspires us to take a completely new look at the function and the actual needs"!
