Despite only having been on the market for a short time, the charming, cableless Roxxane Leggera CL LED luminaire from Nimbus, the Stuttgart-based manufacturer of premium luminaires, has already conquered the hearts of many.
Walter Knoll is full of enthusiasm – for the Nimbus Group's commitment to innovation as well as for the concept of mobile luminaires that give up to 100 hours of light without relying on a power cable. So Nimbus developed an elegant special edition in collaboration with the renowned furniture manufacturer: a Roxxane Leggera CL with exquisite leather appliqués, which which has been shown simultaneously at the showroom in Brera and the Walter Knoll fair stands at the Salone del Mobile.
Living to become more dynamic, light too
What will the home of the future look like? This question inspired the befriended enterprises to develop a joint special edition that harmonises perfectly with the elegant living spaces created by Walter Knoll. The dining table has long been the focal point for communication, the kitchen an extension of the living area, and the traditional living room is being transformed into a multimedia chill-out area. Dietrich F. Brennenstuhl, CEO of the Nimbus Group, characterises the new mobile luminaires thus: "Modern living is full of dynamism, just like mobile light with our powerful, battery-powered LED luminaires, which are really unique in this form."
Markus Benz, CEO of Walter Knoll, adds: "The flexibility of elements – that is the key issue in a modern home. REFINEMENT WITH HIGH-QUALITY LEATHER APPLIQUÉS
The refinement of the special edition with appliqués made of high-quality saddle leather and the seam details so typical of Walter Knoll is carried out at the Walter Knoll factory. This limited version also boasts a colour shade that has been especially selected to match the company's furniture. Moreover, the height has been adjusted so that it complements the living and office environments created by the Walter Knoll brand of furniture. The Roxxane Leggera CL Edition Walter Knoll will be available from June 2017 and is limited to 500 units.
