Ceiling- and suspended luminaires
Blade of light – If we suppose for a moment that darkness and shadow had the consistency of something extremely hard, our Modul L 196 would cut through them like Hattori Hanzo's blade in Kiddo's hand. However, unlike in Tarantino's movie, no blood flows – just an abundance of light in its most beautiful form. Some may comment that we are fighting with unfair means – but just because Hanzo never succeeded in aesthetically combining three blades, it needn't mean that the same applies to our Modul L 196.
In terms of form, the luminaires in the Modul L family fit in seamlessly with the luminaires in the Modul Q and R ranges. The Modul L 196 / L 112 ceiling and suspended luminaires are made of translucent acrylic glass and their optimised conical indentations with DIN-compliant (DIN EN 12464-1) glare suppression ensure a unique light characteristic that makes them ideal for efficient wide-area room lighting for offices and workplaces. The Modul L 196 is the perfect alternative to conventional louvre luminaires. With a height of just 18 mm, it blends in seamlessly with the surrounding architecture.
Two or three Modul L 196 luminaires can be joined to form one single unit requiring just one power cable, thereby enabling strips of light up to 4.54 meters in length. The Modul L 196 / L 112 range is available as a suspended luminaire, as a surface-mounted version and as Modul L 196 Sequence 2 and Sequence 3, in which two or three luminaires can be joined to form a single unit.
Almost all of the luminaires in the Modul L range are available in 2,700 K, 3,000 K, 4,000 K and are dimmable with an appropriate dimming device plus converter.
