Sigmax BV, Enschede (NL)

The ceiling lighting at the new headquarters of Sigmax BV in Enschede consists exclusively of ultra-modern LED luminaires from Nimbus. The particular challenge faced in this project lay in the clever way the air-conditioning system has been combined with the lighting: the air flow is guided along the ceiling and may not be interrupted so that it can find its way into the furthest corners of the building. "With a height of just one centimetre, the Modul R LED luminaire from Nimbus was the ideal solution," explains Maichel Kusters from Arpalight. His office was engaged by the interior designer Odette Ex to develop the lighting plan. Thanks to their minimalistic dimensions and the possibility of housing the power supply elements in the building's facade panels, these Nimbus luminaires proved to be the ideal solution for mastering the challenge. What is more, they are perfectly in line with the building's overall concept, which impresses with durability, efficiency and modern design.
