Town House, Lucerne (CH)
The entire lighting for this town apartment has been realised using Nimbus LED luminaires. The simple design not only emphasises the clear lines of the architecture but also supports the colour concept and the use of materials. Thanks to the use of LEDs, obtaining MINERGIE® certification presented no problem at all.
This generously proportioned town apartment extends over two floors and is situated in one of a set of five residential buildings in the city of Lucerne. With these buildings, the Daniele Marques firm of Swiss architects succeeded in realising a contemporary, condensed urban development project. The maisonette apartment was given a clear-cut yet sensuous design – from the facade to the expertly realised interior. The Nimbus LED luminaires fit in harmoniously with this design and provide the entire general lighting. The simple design of the LED luminaires emphasises the clear lines of the architecture and supports the colour concept and the use of materials.
Tiltable Q 36 TTs in the corridor allow individual accentuation of paintings and objects. The Mike India Accent recessed luminaires present the stairs as a sculpture while providing glare-free light. The Modul Q 64 provides basic lighting and light to work by in the kitchen. The dimmable version can be used to set the ideal lighting atmosphere. Mike India modules generate brilliant light for work surfaces. The Q 9 Aqua provides ideal lighting for the bathroom.
