Tubingen University Library (GER)

As Building Director Bernd Selbmann commented when handing over the modernised main building of the Tubingen University Library to the vice chancellor: "The library was never really a place that invited people to linger, but now, with the new LED lighting, it is nice and airy." The building was constructed in 1963 and now meets the demands placed on educational facilities in the digital age: a new cafeteria makes for a more pleasant stay; students have been given improved access to WLAN; the foyer makes a fresh and bright impression on those visiting the library.
