Advantages of LED technology as opposed to halogen low-voltage

A major advantage over halogen low-voltage lamps is the fact that the light contains no IR/UV rays and that there is therefore no heat radiation. The energy efficiency of LEDs is well over twice as high as that of halogen low-voltage technology.
