Guarantee policy
Manufacturers guarantee 1 year
With respect to consumers, Nimbus assumes a manufacturer’s guarantee within the meaning of Section 13 of the German Civil Code (Bürgerliches Gesetzbuch, BGB) for the product Roxxane Leggera CL. This shall apply independently of the statutory guarantee which the consumer is entitled to receive from the seller and without prejudice to mandatory statutory liability provisions.
The guarantee shall apply for a period of 1 year from the date of purchase. The guarantee period shall not be extended as a result of services performed under this guarantee and shall not begin anew.
The guarantee covers material and/or manufacturing defects.
Performance provided under the guarantee shall take the form of either repair or replacement of the purchased item. Nimbus shall decide at its own discretion which option to implement. No further claims will be considered within the framework of this guarantee. Such claims shall be based exclusively on the relevant statutory provisions. Claims under this guarantee may only be made by handing over the purchased item to one of Nimbus's authorised retailers and submitting the original invoice. Should the product no longer be manufactured at the time a claim is made under this guarantee, Nimbus shall be entitled to supply a similar product.
The guarantee excludes defects caused by:
- Improper installation or maintenance or incorrect use
- Failure to follow the installation instructions or instructions for use (e.g. connection to the wrong mains voltage or wrong type of current)
- Mechanical and thermal stresses or chemical agents to which the product is not intended to be exposed (e.g. during transport, cleaning or installation)
- Normal wear and prohibited actions
- Force majeure (e.g. lightning strike, overvoltage, electrostatic discharges, fire, flooding and the like)
- Superficial damage including scratches, dents and damaged plastic at the terminals
Guarantee extension to 3 years!
If a Roxxane Leggera is registered within 4 weeks of the date of purchase, Nimbus is offering an extended guarantee totalling 3 years beginning at the date the luminaire was sold to the consumer. Separate guarantee conditions apply. Registration is only possible online and purchasers can complete the registration themselves online. After successfully completing the registration, purchasers will receive a confirmation of their 3-year guarantee by e-mail and can then print it out.
