Dependable partnership: Unilever and Nimbus

The Nimbus LED lighting concept supports Unilever's aim of "resource conservation". The fertile collaboration between the Nimbus Group and the international Unilever group has been going on for two years now. The new corporate headquarters for Germany, Austria and Switzerland built in Hamburg's emerging Hafencity marked the spectacular start of the collaboration in 2009.

Then, at the end of 2010, came the installation of a whole range of Nimbus LED lighting solutions in the Unilever administration building in Heilbronn. The Office Air floor-standing LED luminaires, for example, create ideal lighting situations at workplaces, and, on the ceilings, Modul Q and Modul R luminaires spread pleasant room lighting. The existing building has been brought up to the state-of-the-art in terms of the energy consumption – with the LED lighting concept playing a major role in the energy-saving measures.

The next project is scheduled for 2011 when it will be the turn of the company's Italian headquarters in Rome. Comprehensive renovation work will be carried out as the employees go about their daily business, with lighting solutions from Nimbus being installed at each of the 700 workplaces, all of which have access to natural daylight.
