Successful start: the Nimbus Academy

Successful start: the Nimbus Academy

The Nimbus Group's new series of practical LED seminars got off to a successful start with two fully booked training events and a lot of positive feedback.

At the end of October, participants at the Stuttgart Mock-Up, our unconventional training and exhibition rooms, as well as at the "Gut Karlshöhe" environment centre in Hamburg, found ideal settings for their seminar. Nimbus fitted out the recently opened Gut Karlshöhe with wide-ranging LED solutions. The centre presents climate protection as an inspiring cultural experience for adults and children (www.gut-karlshoehe.de).

Following a detailed, theoretical session, participants at the seminars also had the opportunity to do same practical work and to simulate a detailed lighting plan and the installation of LED solutions in a variety of different situations. Subsequently integrating the lighting plan into a building control system represented a further challenge, but, in this case, participants benefitted from the professional accompaniment of a sales engineer from GIRA.

Through it newly established "Nimbus Academy", the company would like to communicate even more specialist know-how in future and to provide more information about the latest developments in LED technology. The experience gathered in realizing over 5,000 LED projects from homes, doctors' practices, schools and kindergartens through to office buildings and corporate headquarters clearly shows the lead enjoyed by Nimbus LED luminaires in terms of design, energy concept and technology as well as the high level of expertise within the Nimbus Group. Motivated by a spirit of partnership, Nimbus wishes to share this experience as well as its technical and planning know-how.

The series of seminars is currently aimed at specialist dealers and will be continued in 2012. The next training date is on Monday 23rd January 2012 and takes place in Berlin. Should you be interested please contact seminare@nimbus-group.com.
