Roxxane: winner in the LUMINAIRE OF THE YEAR 2013 competition

After already receiving several nominations and winning a number of design prizes, our Roxxane has now also gained a place on the podium in the competition "Luminaire of the Year 2013"!

Four luminaires from next home, Slamp, Nimbus and Oligo emerged as winners in the competition that is held every year on the Internet. The COSMO from next home secured first place with 17.72 % of the votes. VELI from the Italian luminaire manufacturer Slamp came second. Hard on its heels and each with 14 % of the vote in joint third: ROXXANE from Nimbus and IXO from Oligo.
The winners will receive their awards at the "Kaiserhaus" in Arnsberg in June 2013.

The "Luminaire of the Year" competition is staged annually on the Internet. Twelve luminaires compete against one another in a vote to find the winner. The general public acts as jury and decides which three luminaires make it through to the final. The ON-LIGHT web portal is the initiator and creative force behind the competition and found an important collaboration partner in the HIGHLIGHT trade journal. Lichtforum NRW has been a partner in staging the competition since 2009 and is set to give the competition a permanent address within the framework of a permanent exhibition. All the winning luminaires will find a virtual home on the web and will be presented to the general public the whole year round.
