German Design Award 2015

Perfection in design and functionality:
Rim R and Lady Jane– awards from the German Design Council.

Rotating and tilting, a slim luminaire body made of translucent acrylic glass – hovering in a ring element made of high-quality aluminium, three different diameters with different heights and six extraordinary surface finishes: that is our Rim R range.

Recently awarded the German Design Award 2015 – the international top prize from the German Design Council - in the category "Excellent Product Design – Lighting". And a further Nimbus product won an award for outstanding design quality in the same category: Lady Jane received the Special Mention.

The jury appreciated the slim luminaire head made of acrylic glass that is held in place by its own weight. Moving the head and fixing it at any desired height are child's play. The fabric power cable is available in three different colours and is the luminaire's main eye-catching feature.

And finally: the following Nimbus luminaires received nominations: Force One, Eloise, and Louis et Marie
