Modul Q Project Family
Ceiling and suspended luminaires
"Designed to perform – without compromises"
The Nimbus Modul Q Project luminaires were specifically designed for the distinct requirements of the project field. With the new Modul Project luminaires (Modul Q Project and Modul R Project), Nimbus has made consistent additions to its portfolio of efficient ceiling luminaires for use in the project field. With a profile of just 17 mm (24 V version) or 27 mm for the 230 V version with integrated converter/control system, the Modul Project ceiling luminaires are the slimmest surface-mounted ceiling luminaires on the market. Thanks to the new integrated construction, the luminaire head, the canopy and each of the – optionally configurable – control systems form an enclosed unit.
The Modul Project ceiling luminaires have the shortest installation time of all surface-mounted luminaires: "plug and play" - the canopy need not be removed for the installation and electrical connection of the luminaire. Both the 24 V direct installation version and the 230 V surface-mounted version can be quickly and efficiently installed and set up using the patented Nimbus magnetic fastening system and mounting ring: the luminaire is connected to the power supply by means of a special cable with a micro-plug protected against reverse polarity.
The successful large sister luminaires of the Modul Q Project have been available since autumn 2014: the three large suspended luminaires Modul Q 600, Modul Q 900 and Modul Q 1200 Project. Chamfered edges and wide corner radii lend these luminaires too a visual lightness. And their high level of efficiency makes them a veritable canopy of light. The new Modul Q suspended luminaires are available in three different sizes up to an edge length of 1200 x 1200 mm. The optionally available indirect lighting is flush-mounted in the luminaire cover.
Thanks to its new IQ technology, Nimbus is able to offer sensor-operated ceiling luminaires from the Modul Q/R Project range with integrated presence and ambient light sensors “on board”. The IQ sensor luminaires react to presence and ambient light. However, the special feature here is the option of setting the basic brightness: if presence is no longer detected, the luminaire does not switch off but gently dims to the pre-set brightness. More information about the new IQ technology you will find HERE.
According to their intended use the luminaires of the Modul Q Project series can be ordered in 3000 K or 4000 K and can be dimmed via different protocols, depending on the version selected.
