Lecture Theatre TU Munich (GER)

Munich's Technical University looks back on a history extending well over 140 years. Generations of students have hung on the words of their lecturers from the historic seating of the Friedrich von Thiersch lecture theatre. Architect Anton Streit-Britschgi from the Munich Building Authority carefully renovated the lecture theatre, thereby presenting it in a modern light. The ceiling lighting had to be replaced by a system requiring much less maintenance. Streit-Britschgi found the ideal solution in Nimbus LED luminaires. And it was not only their long, low-maintenance service lifetime in combination with their considerable energy-saving potential that filled him with enthusiasm. He was also won over by the warm lighting atmosphere exuded by the luminaires.
