The pandemic has highlighted something we have always known: we learn better in a group. And the benefit is even greater when the rooms we gather in have an atmosphere that promotes learning. In the library building at Linz University's Med Campus, Nimbus Lighting Pads ensure good acoustics, pleasant light and an almost homely general ambience.

The overall nature of the award-winning design by LORENZATELIERS establishes a wide range of connections. The brilliant concept links up a wide variety of different uses, buildings, walkways and therefore people in downtown Linz, thus creating a perfect physical backdrop for successful learning and research.
