Lechtaler Dirndl & Tracht, Genderkingen

Traditional costume fashion has experienced a real hype in recent years in Germany. Jens Mair, managing director of Lechtaler Dirndl & Tracht in Genderkingen, wanted to preserve traditions in his store - but in a contemporary way. He has been assisted in his endeavours by Martin Maierhofer, a master carpenter from Rain, who designed and implemented a new room and lighting concept for the reception area in the shop. The combination of clear lines, room design and a modern design language was particularly important to the client. At the same time, everything had to have a warm effect. The subject of light plays an important part for the inviting effect of the room, but also for the goods that are presented. The white of the dirndl blouses now really stands out, and the colours and materials of the rest of the clothing and jewellery or accessories appear natural and appealing. In the lighting planning, the project participants were just as detail-oriented as in the furniture planning. Everything was to be put in the best light for the customers. Various products from Nimbus and Häfele were used, including the Q Four Connect Track, which makes it possible to switch on or off, dim, change the color temperature or preset individual lighting scenarios for different occasions thanks to Häfele Connect. Loox LED strip lights or Loox spotlights from Häfele in the display cases are also integrated into the smart Häfele Connect Mesh system. This makes the interaction of furniture and room lighting in the Lechtaler Dirndl & Tracht very easy to control via two Connect Mesh wall switches. The result is a precisely regulated lighting mood in four variants for different occasions and situations.
